Log files

Each time you access our website, we collect the following information about your computer: the IP address of your computer, the request from your browser and the time of this request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred as part of this request are recorded, as well as product and version information about the browser used and the operating system of your computer. We also record the website from which our site was accessed. The IP address of your computer is only stored for the duration of your use of the website and is then immediately deleted or anonymized by truncating it. The other data are stored for a limited period of time. We use these data to operate our website, in particular to identify and eliminate errors on the website, to determine its capacity utilization and to make adjustments or improvements (legal principle: Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.  The information generated by a cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from Google processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in; as an alternative, you can also click on the following link to set an opt-out cookie: Deactivate Google Analytics via opt-out cookie (status: opt-out cookie is set).

In light of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, please note that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()", and therefore IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude the possibility of direct personal references.

We use Google Analytics to analyze the use of our website and to improve it on an ongoing basis.  We can use the statistics obtained to optimize our website and make it more interesting for you as a user.  For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal foundation for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Further information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google privacy policy: Privacy Policy – Privacy & Terms – Google
