AFRICA RUNNERS – Looking forward to autumn

The Africa Runners started off their 2024 season with many individual runs, several smaller teams and even a few unusual events like a distance of an unbelievable 120 km. And together they have already raised almost €20,000 for our Little Five – the five primary schools in Eastern Cape, South Africa, which are in desperate need of renovation and modernization. 

Every euro donated is matched!

Major thanks to all of the runners: you’ve already brought in nearly 20,000 euros in donations! That amounts to €40,000 for the Little Five. The Schwabe Group in Karlsruhe matches contributions up to a maximum total of €50,000 for the money the Africa Runners raise. So running and contributing both go twice as far!

Getting involved pays off! Fall is coming up with many races and runs where Africa Runners around the globe will be taking part. No matter where you live and where you run: join the international team of Africa Runners and raise funds for our School in Africa. We already have runners at the starting block in the Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium and Spain; teams have already signed up in southern Africa, Switzerland, Austria, India, Mexico and Canada. 

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the race season brings – and we are grateful for the support for our “Little Five” in the Eastern Cape. THANK YOU!
