ETTLINGEN - KJG raises €12,900 in donations for our "School in Africa"

Running pays off!
It pays off to do your laps! On May 13, the Catholic youth group KJG from the St. Martin congregation raised €12,900 during their annual fun run at Horbachpark in Ettlingen. The money will go straight to St. Steven's Secondary School in Malawi. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
The Umckaloabo Foundation has chosen St. Steven’s as its "School in Africa" this year. It will be set up in the Kasantha region; to date, the approximately 4,000 elementary-school children who live there have no means of pursuing a secondary education. We plan to start building the school as soon as possible with the assistance of our project partner, Father John Moyo. And we couldn’t be more pleased about the boost in funding and the motivation from Ettlingen! Thank you!
