Schwabe employees and their sense of commitment
Determined, creative and with an impressive amount of energy: the people who work for the Schwabe Group have a long history of showing commitment towards the mission of the Umckaloabo Foundation far above and beyond the norm. At the company cafeteria in Karlsruhe, two Schwabe employees, Regina Specht and Rosa-Maria Garcia-Korz, went to special lengths to offer information and fair-trade items for a donation, especially in the pre-Christmas season. Recently they managed to collect almost 700 euros. They also work tirelessly in their personal circles to raise money. Many thanks for your ceaseless efforts to benefit the Foundation!
This fall, the two Schwabe employees will visit the Umckaloabo Foundation’s projects in South Africa.
A pharmacy and its special campaign
And Rosa-Maria Garcia-Korz even got a local business involved: the pharmacy Neue Apotheke Albersweiler not only advertises the work of the Umckaloabo Foundation with posters and flyers, they raised funds as well. 200 euros came together, and as always, every penny of it goes in full to the educational work the Umckaloabo Foundation supports. Such efforts are unusual from a pharmacy. We say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
