On June 16, 2026, the Masifunde Choir will showcase what talent development can achieve with a performance in Karlsruhe. Through the Changemaker Academy run by Masifunde in Walmer Township near Port Elizabeth, South Africa, even young people from highly disadvantaged backgrounds receive support for their creative talents—whether in visual arts, dance, or singing. 

This not only opens up new career opportunities in creative fields for some of them, but above all, it strengthens the self-esteem of these young people. By nurturing their artistic abilities, they develop personal strengths and experience recognition and appreciation.
